Ben
DIRECTOR
Ben has been dancing and competing for 13 years. After watching a group perform when he was 6 years old, Ben was absolutely enchanted and knew he had to dance. However, young Ben did have a fear of cooties, so it wasn’t until his mom signed him up for a class out of the blue that he finally jumped in.
After 10 years of teaching, Ben’s greatest desire is to see his students thrive through proper technique, a solid support system, and a belief that his students can achieve great heights.
When Ben is not coaching, he enjoys competing and performing, which has given him an opportunity to engage with countless audiences. Ben’s dance experience has led him to meet and connect with people and cultures around the world, opening a new world of discovery and adventure that he wants to share with his students.

Mikayla
INSTRUCTOR
Dancing has always been a core part of Mikayla, but it wasn’t until she was 12 that she discovered ballroom and became completely captivated by its elegance and precision. Since then, she has dedicated over six years to mastering and teaching a variety of ballroom styles, from Latin to Standard.
Now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in special education and elementary education, Mikayla is committed to creating an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for dancers of all abilities. Her teaching style focuses on building confidence, discipline, and creativity while ensuring each lesson is enjoyable.
Eager to bring ballroom back to the valley, Mikayla hopes to cultivate a thriving local dance community where dancers of all ages can grow both on and off the floor.
